This stone cut is named after Aquila - a constellation on the celestial equator, taking its name from the Latin word for “Eagle”. According to classic Greek mythology, Aquila was the Eagle that carried the thunderbolts of Zeus.

We are taking our commitment to sustainability to the next level with our switch to above ground, unmined diamonds from Diamond Foundry.

Just like with mined stones, each diamond is unique, forming in its own way with the same one-of-a-kind inclusions and unique growth patterns. No two diamonds are alike.

As with traditionally mined stones, these are cut and polished by artisans and craftsmen to reveal a superior, striking diamond.

The stones are forged aboveground without the vast environmental and social impact of mining. 

Because they are produced, their origin is 100% guaranteed and certain - something impossible to know with mined diamonds from Africa and Russia that pass through dozens of owners.

Like Amanda, these diamonds originate in the American West.

Large diamonds are rare. Small diamonds are plenty. Whether mined or made.

We’ve taken control and are doing things our way - that means that we’ve cut the middlemen so that we can sell directly to you at real prices, and in turn do more for the causes that we support.

Our mission is to empower women to #MakeWaves. To do so in a sustainable, ethical, fair way, and rally attention and funds around a cause.

We are a small, women-run business, designing our jewelry in our NYC studio and manufacturing locally by artisans in the city’s Diamond District. We proudly work with local family businesses and small makers to help keep our local industry alive and thriving.
