Extra care should be taken with pearls, which are a softer stones. Lotions, hair sprays, and perfume should be applied before putting on jewelry. Extra care can be taken by wiping the pearls carefully with a soft, damp cloth to remove any traces of these substances when you take off the jewelry.  Do not clean these stones with any chemicals, abrasives or solvents and make sure to take them off before swimming or showering to keep them in lasting condition.

Use a piece of string (or tape measure) to find the desired length of your necklace, and then measure the length of the string. The image below shows roughly where the necklace lengths fall. However, we suggest using the measuring method to see exactly how the lengths fall on your neck, as they fit every body a little differently.
