The stones are forged aboveground without the vast environmental and social impact of mining. With our Diamond Foundry diamonds, solar technology is used to re-create the way in which diamonds form in nature. Creating these particular diamonds takes less energy than extracting them from the earth via industrial mining – and the energy used is all renewable. The production of Diamond Foundry stones is 100% carbon neutral.
Diamonds are cut and polished by artisans and craftsmen to reveal a superior, striking diamond.
Because they are produced, their origin is 100% guaranteed and certain – something impossible to know with mined diamonds from Africa and Russia that pass through dozens of owners. Diamond Foundry diamonds originate in the American West, for example.
Large diamonds are rare. Small diamonds are plenty. Whether mined or made.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Toxics Release Inventory, “metal mining is the nation’s #1 toxic polluter,” and Earthworks states that mining is the biggest polluter in the USA, contributing to arsenic, mercury, and lead pollution.
These precious metals are one of Earth’s natural renewable resources that can be recycled without any quality degradation, so why are we mining for more?
