How To About the Jewelry Interviews Style Guides

It's Summer! I have 2 sartorial modes in summer. 1st - dressing for the summer I want. That means beachy-chic dresses and raffia handbags made for a modern Marge from the 'Talented Mr. Ripley'.  The 2nd mode comes at the end of summer when it's hot AF and the only summer dressing I can do is to sweat as comfortably as possible. That means cool and loose kaftans that can endure the dirty, sweaty, NYC heat.  Mode 2 doesn't really belong on a "WISH" list, so I'll stick to my 1st mode where I can dress for the summer of my dreams.

1. Beachy Dress

Crochet dress by Jonathan Simkhai

This dress by Jonathan Simkhai hits all the marks for dressing the part of living one's best life by the sea. All that's missing is toes in the sand and an ice cold glass of rosé.

2. Recycled gold charm and chain

Diamond cut bead chain in yellow gold with Demi-pavé ripple charm.

My Ripple Charm on a sparkling-like-the-sea Diamond Cut Bead Chain has been my go-to this summer, and a great piece to travel with. I've been wearing the charm + chain day and night (even to the beach!) but the chain is a great standalone for subtle sparkle on casual days as well.

3. Vacation in a bottle

SUNDAZED fragrance from BYREDO

Even if I'm not at the beach, I'll feel that I am with this SUNDAZED fragrance from BYREDO. "SUNDAZED catapults through sunny top notes of mandarin and Californian lemon to a bold heart of neroli and Arabian jasmine. Like cotton candy, a cascade of white musk injects this citrus scent with the endorphin rush of sugar on skin.  Nostalgia and escapism entwine to channel the warmth of an endless summer." Sign me up!

4. Sea inspired clutch

Hand painted AMANDA PEARL Roll Clutch - one-of-a-kind

Even if I don't go anywhere, these clutches have a way of making me feel elsewhere. The manufacturing is immaculate and luxurious (and Italian), and the colors of this hand painted sea green/blue/aqua Roll Clutch take me away to the Mediterranean Sea.

5. Nails to match

Seagrass nail polish by Death Valley Nails

I'm obsessed with the polish colors from Death Valley Nails - so gorge, and 10-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and nontoxic to boot. My only problem has been narrowing down my wish list, but this one, called Seagrass, is definitely at the top of the list for "beach girl summer".

6. Opal Studs

Pear and round opal stud earrings in 14k yellow gold.

I'm a bit opal obsessed and have been LOVING these new Opal Studs from the collection. They have so much fire, and are like little worlds unto themselves.  Their underlying aqua shades are keeping me feeling summer vibes from the city to the seashore.

7. This tee

Égalité pour les femmes tee from Clare V

This "Égalité Pour Les Femmes" (Equality for the Women) tee from Clare V, which gives 30% of the purchase price to the Center for Reproductive Rights. Because efffffff [the supreme court].

8. Raffia sandals

I pretty much love raffia everything, and think these sandals from Clergerie will make me feel grounded in nature - even if I'm not.
