Spring is finally here and it is about damn time. There is so much to be excited about: sunshine, picnics, ice cream, and of course, shoving your winter coat in the back of the closet and replacing it with pieces you're actually excited to wear! To me, this spring is all about mixing neutral basics with statement pieces. I'm loving contrast and color blocking.
1. Kiwi Patent Vegan Bubble Clog
I've had my eye on these clogs from Simon Miller all winter long. There is nothing I want more than a lazy Sunday stroll through a farmers market in these beauties.
2. Samantha: Chartreuse Duchess Roll Clutch
Hear me out. Kiwi clogs + this clutch. Too much? I don't care. It's finally nice enough to enjoy being outside and I will be making the absolute most of it. ;) Beyond obsessed with this color and the gold accents!
3. Curtis Shirt and Trousers in Butter
I'm loving the idea of a set. I've been seeing people all around NYC rocking sets lately and they never fail to look put together and eye catching. This neutral set from Xevi Fernandez could be dressed up or down and paired with just about any accessories. I adore it!
4. Small Multicolored Gemstone Charm Lock
This charm lock checks all the boxes for me. It is fun yet subtle, functional yet glam, statement yet versatile. It would be the perfect addition to my go-to gold chains. It is small enough that it wouldn't detract from the overall look but I can just imagine these colorful gems lighting up as they catch this year's first rays of warm sunshine.
This crochet hat from Khaite is so bold and so fun... yet surprisingly wearable? A black and white graphic pattern can go with just about anything. I love that it folds up small and could lend a much needed hand when that crazy spring weather leaves me in need of some sun protection or sends some chilly wind my way and I need to keep my ears warm.
6. Demi Pavé Ripple Cuff Bracelet
I'm loving this bracelet. Gold screams sunshine and warm weather so you'll find me rocking gold pieces all spring and summer long. This specific piece hits close to home due to the nature of the ripple effect throughout the design. During the first hot and sticky spring days in NYC, all I can think about is escaping to the beach for a refreshing dip. This light and delicate ripple cuff, reminiscent of cool flowing water, is the perfect piece to rock as things start to heat up.
This is where my wish list takes a brief, slightly more practical turn. Nothing is going to stop me from making the most of this spring, especially if I had this super cute bubble umbrella. This umbrella is just as fun of an accessory as it is practical.
8. Double Shade Welo Opal Necklace
As I mentioned, I'm all about the gold jewelry. However, something about this opal necklace is impossible to resist! The colors are absolutely magical and I'm loving how well it compliments the gold necklace it is layered with in this picture.
9. Arya Open Knit Sweater Dress
Not quite sure if I love this dress or just want to be where this model is wearing the dress. What a vibe! I can see myself wearing this knit dress to work with a linen blazer just as much as with flip flops to the beach.
