MATERIAL CHOICE

We have always believed that jewelry should carry weight — not just physically, but in meaning. Sterling silver is the natural expression of that belief: a material with centuries of craft behind it, chosen not for trend, but for permanence. Enduring, honest, and built to be worn through every chapter of a life.

LOOK BOOK

Why did we launch a sterling silver collection?

After much interest, we decided to open up the collection to a broader group of fans.  We hope that old and new customers alike will enjoy this long-adored, bright, and earthy metal. Like all AMANDA PEARL pieces, it is durable, long-lasting, and eco-conscious - the perfect entree to fine jewelry.

What's the difference between white gold and sterling silver?

Both metals share a similar bright, silvery appearance but differ in durability and maintenance.

Sterling Silver is a timeless, heirloom-quality metal like 14k gold, but it is more affordable. It is also softer than 14k gold and will show wear and naturally develop a patina over time.  Many love this lived-in character. If you prefer to keep the piece bright and shiny, occasional polishing and proper storage in the anti-tarnish pouch it came in will do the trick.

White Gold is a harder, more durable metal that resists tarnishing and everyday wear. It will stay clean, smooth, and polished with minimal upkeep, making it a solid long-term investment.

To help with your decision making...

We'd suggest choosing sterling silver if you love an affordable, characterful metal and don't mind a little upkeep.

We'd suggest choosing 14k white gold if you are looking for a durable, low-maintenance piece that holds its finish and value over time.

How do I care for my sterling silver jewelry?

Sterling silver is a beautiful, enduring metal — but it does require a little love to keep it looking like it did when you first got it.

Cleaning: When your silver needs a refresh, gently polish it with a soft cloth or a silver polishing cloth. For a deeper clean, a mild soap and warm water with a soft toothbrush work wonderfully. Be sure to dry it thoroughly after.

Storage: Air and moisture are silver's biggest enemies. Store your pieces in an airtight bag or anti-tarnish pouch when not in use, and keep them away from humidity — that means off the bathroom counter!

Everyday wear: The natural oils from your skin can actually help keep silver polished, so don't be afraid to wear it often. However, remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or applying lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products, as these can accelerate tarnishing.
